Harernaam harernaam harernaamaiv kevalan| The description of this mantra has been given in many Hindu Holy Scriptures including Brahmavaivarta Puranas, Padma Purana, Shrimad Bhagwat, Sri Ramarakhastrotram, Brahmanda Purana, Bhaktichandrika, Atharvaveda, Yajurveda, Vishnudharmottara and Harivanshpurana. It is believed that there is no other remedy for the salvation of the creatures except for the chanting of this mantra in Kali Yuga.
